DESCRIPTION:About this event\nJoin our 4-part workshop series that empowers parents/caregivers of 9-12 year olds with developmental disabilities with knowledge\, resources\, and a sense of direction for the future. \nWe will touch on a variety of topics including values and belonging in the community\, visioning and planning\, various transitions during later elementary school\, navigating various systems age appropriate for families with “tween” age children as well as advocacy and having difficult conversations. We will meet you where you are in your journey\, that can sometimes feel overwhelming in reality. You’re not alone.
