In the eportfolio workshop\, participants will learn about the different types of portfolios\, how to use google sites\, and the basics of layout and design. Learners will choose the type of portfolio they want to build and the subject they want to focus on. They will select and add content to their sites along with descriptions\, statements about their motivation\, interests\, skills\, and hobbies.

DESCRIPTION:Oct 25th  to Dec 8rd – This is a 6-week course. \nClasses are on Tues to Thurs for 2 hours per session \nFacilitator: Toby \nPrivate – GTDI Program intake required prior to workshop: getdigital@gatewayassociation.ca \nIncrease your digital and social skills\, as you work in a team to build a website for an imaginary company. This is a tech-based work simulation\, where learners are ‘hired’ into positions at an imaginary tech company and work together to build a website for a simulated client. \nThis course covers basic: internet vocabulary\, web design\, and use of google apps while giving you experience with working on a team\, engaging with peers\, and giving presentations. Learn to design and build a website\, create and give presentations\, and practice your interview skills.
