DESCRIPTION:Understanding Disability \nSaturday\, November 18 \n9:00am – 12:00pm | Online \n  \nUnderstanding Disability workshop covers 3 part series: \n  \nUnderstanding Disability in Alberta \nA workshop for those who would like information about disability and initial government programs that can be accessed in Alberta. \nThis workshop is for caregivers and professionals to gain knowledge and bring awareness about services that support those with disabilities in Alberta. \n  \nUnderstanding Disability in the Transitioning Years \nA workshop that provides an overview of supports available to youth who are transitioning to adulthood. \nThis workshop is for caregivers and professionals who are supporting a young person who is transitioning to adulthood to think about their future in the community and access the right support. \n  \nUnderstanding Disability: Community Resources \nA workshop that explores community and government resources for adults with disabilities. \nThis workshop is for caregivers and professionals who are supporting an adult with a disability to ensure the proper supports are accessed for them to live a good life.
