DESCRIPTION:A 3-part workshop series that empowers families of 0 – 8 year-olds with disabilities with knowledge\, resources\, and more. \n\n\n\n\n*Workshop information is for Alberta Residents \n*Workshop is delivered in English \nVisioning & Planning for Families with Children 0-8 years \nTuesdays \nSeptember 29 \nOctober 6 \nOctober 13 \n6:00 pm – 8:00 pm | Online \nA 3-part workshop series that empowers families of children with disabilities up to 8 years old with knowledge\, resources\, and more. \nThis is a workshop for parents/caregivers of children with disabilities from birth-8 years old with knowledge\, resources\, and a sense of direction for the future. \nWe will touch on a variety of topics including values and belonging in the community\, visioning and planning\, various transitions during early elementary school\, navigating various systems (FSCD) age appropriate for families with younger children as well as advocacy and having difficult conversations. \nFriendly reminders: \n\nPlease add the dates to your calendar! Reminders will be sent for the first session only.\n\n\nPlease plan to join at the start time.
