DESCRIPTION:Note: Participants must attend all sessions in the series. \n  \nPrerequisite: Be comfortable with Scratch or be prepared to watch along as this class will move at a faster pace\, has a less visual interface and is more complex comparatively \nIn this series of workshops\, we will advance on the object oriented programming (OOP) and coding fundamentals introduced in Scratch classes. We will begin coding using an actual language instead of the building blocks which are no code/pre-programmed which we’ve used thus far. The Python programming language is an easy to learn language with less restrictive syntax preventing many errors that will trip new learners up. \n  \n“The Python interpreter and the extensive standard library are freely available in source or binary form for all major platforms from the Python web site\, https://www.python.org/\, and may be freely distributed. The same site also contains distributions of and pointers to many free third party Python modules\, programs and tools\, and additional documentation.” \n  \n*Note Instructor may/may not be able to help students with technical issues in part due to the virtual environment and not having control over hardware setup.
