These information sessions give participants the opportunity to learn more about prospective industries\, recruitment requirements and qualifications\, and the next steps they may need to take to achieve their employment goals. \n  \nBean Gill is an Inclusion Warrior\, Paralysis Recovery Pioneer\, and Change Maker who defies the odds. In 2012\, she faced a sudden spinal injury while on vacation\, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Determined not to succumb to despair\, Bean chose to persevere. DESCRIPTION:Visioning and Planning 9-13 year olds\n\nWednesdays\nNovember 6\nNovember 13\nNovember 20\n\n\n6:00 pm – 8:00 pm\n\nA 3-part workshop series  that empowers families of 9 – 13 year-olds with disabilities with knowledge\, resources\, and more.\n\nThis workshop is for parents/caregivers of 9-13 year-olds with disabilities with knowledge\, resources\, and a sense of direction for the future.\n\nWe will touch on a variety of topics including values and belonging in the community\, visioning and planning\, various transitions during  later elementary school\, IPPs\, navigating various systems (FSCD) age appropriate for families with “tween” age children as well as advocacy and having difficult conversations.\n\nQuestions?
