Maigan is an artist, popular educator, organizer, youth mentor and loyal dog-person, with life-long roots in Edmonton- Amiskwacîwâskahikan.

Having worked with the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights (2009-2021), Maigan’s had the privilege to learn alongside diverse and talented community members, building arts-based projects that uplift lived wisdom and explore the intersection of arts leadership and human rights. She is thrilled to have landed at Gateway Association as a member of the Digital Inclusion team.

Maigan is passionate about community, all-kinds-of-art, activism, laughter, kindness and making time for everyday acts of justice.
