Hi, I’m Ashleigh Benson

Manager of Program Development/ Career & Inclusion Consultant

I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in 2014, and after university is when I started my career path in the disability field. In my first role, I worked as a Program Assistant supporting children who live with disabilities to work on life skills in a home setting.

Then in 2016, wanting to help more people, I started with Gateway Association on the employment team. It’s been a pleasure to see people in jobs that truly make them happy and how many other aspects of life it touches. I love supporting people to feel like their authentic selves and for that to shine through in their place of work.

Along with my passion for supporting people, I also love decorating cakes, trying new foods, and travelling.
