For job seekers in Edmonton & Calgary

You already have the skills

If you’ve been out of work, been told no, or just can’t see your own strengths right now, you’re not the only one. Here at Gateway, we support people living with disabilities in finding work and planning a career that they love in Edmonton and Calgary. It’s free, and it starts whenever you’re ready.

A monitor, notebook, pen, lamp, and framed photos are on the desk in front of him. His desk is surrounded by house plants and an abstract art piece. He has closely cropped black hair, brown eyes, and is wearing a rust-orange knit quarter-zip sweater with white vertical stripes, light khaki trousers, and a small stud earring. Being a part of the Gateway Association allowed me to gain skills and knowledge, which helped me be successful in finding part-time employment. A big thank you to Reham for all she did to help me out during my time with Gateway.

Gateway Association helped me get my life together. It all starts with them listening to my needs, and tailoring to my needs. My worker’s name is Reham, she’s a great person who worked hard to help me, from writing my resume to sending me job postings to job fairs. Reham, thank you for the love and care and support, you were a blessing in my life. Thank you Gateway Association.

We’re very grateful for all the practical help Gateway offered in the way of rewriting our daughter’s resume until it was in great shape, then working on her interview skills and improving her communication skills. Helping coordinate her skills with a potential employer helped greatly! It’s been a game changer for us.

The Gateway program has been helpful. The support they have provided has been invaluable. I worked with Recardo, Stephen and Jae, they were beyond great! Everyone else I have met here has been kind and compassionate. After completing the program my confidence is way up, and I’m employed!

The moment I got in touch with Gateway they were very helpful with supporting me finding a job. Reham would always make sure I was on track and let me know of any opportunities, as well as support me with interview practice. Gateway helped me gain credentials that made me more employable, and eventually with their support I was able to find a job.
