Gateway to Advocacy: Focus on Food Security

It’s so easy to forget all the hidden costs and complexities that come along with the food we eat. What does it mean to be aware of the food we consume, where it comes from and how to make sure everyone has access to fresh, good quality options?
Join this 90 min session, featuring a variety of panelists who will share their own experiences and involvement in food-related community initiatives, while shining a light on The Alex (YYC) and Multicultural Health Brokers (YEG). Come learn about some innovative Alberta-based food projects that lead by example when it comes to addressing local food insecurity and community care.
