Hi, I’m Kevin McKee

IT Support

I come from a background in science, law, and information technology and have been IT Support for Gateway Association for 3 years.

I come at IT first and foremost as a programmer. I am a Python enthusiast wrestling with a pet informatics project I hope to apply to language processing and access to justice issues one day. I also enjoy board games with friends and keeping up with current events. We live in interesting times.

IT support is where people meet technology. I enjoy solving problems for people and finding out how things work. The last couple of years has been particularly interesting and challenging, as the Covid crisis has advanced the pace of adoption of new technologies.

Keeping up with the pace of change in IT is a challenge, as is handling information overload, and I am proud to be part of Gateway Association’s digital literacy work.
