Hi, I’m Li Li

Family Resource Centre Coordinator

I’m a positive thinker, detail-oriented, and open-minded. Having been born in China, grown up in Germany, and travelled extensively, multiculturalism and diversity are integral to my identity and values.

My professional journey began as a market researcher and wine educator, careers I thoroughly enjoyed before my children were diagnosed with Autism. This pivotal moment led me on a path to understanding disability and the world of neurodivergence, which I find both fascinating and motivating. Dedicated to advocating for social justice and quality of life for neurodivergent individuals, I strive to raise awareness of their unique strengths and the concept of double empathy – emphasizing mutual understanding between neurodivergent and neurotypical people.

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about skiing, and I hold an adaptive ski coach certificate, volunteering as a coach in my free time. I love nature and indulge in various outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.
