Hi, I’m Ashton Bennett

Communication and Engagement Coordinator

I am the Communications and Engagement Coordinator at Gateway Association and also sit on the communication committee. My educational background is in psychology and counselling and I have worked for over 10 years in the disability services world! I am an eclectic and enthusiastic Calgary community member who is always on the hunt for an impactful event, a delicious meal, a topic to write about and unique photo ops.

I am happiest when eating and listening for rhythm and beats everywhere I go- live music, a second-hand tune, music fests, poetry readings, open mics, etc. With a passion for potentials, I seek to foster and bring out the best in everyone that I am privileged to cross paths and work with! And although I don’t work on the front lines currently, I am so privileged to connect with community and team members to capture and share success stories throughout our communities.
