Lee McLean

Lee is the Equity Specialist at the City of Edmonton and works in the Diversity and Inclusion unit. Lee’s primary focus is leading the GBA+ implementation across the City. They have a B.A (Honours) in Women’s Studies/Political Science and an MA in Political Science with a focus on race and gender in Canada.

Lee has worked in several First Nations communities, and has extensive experience working with marginalized populations all over Alberta. Lee has been working on equity and inclusion for the past 15 years and has been teaching core principles of diversity and inclusion for the past 10 years at academic institutions, private organizations and governments.
