Honouring Intersectionality in the Recruitment Process
This workshop will equip recruiters and hiring managers with the knowledge and tools to foster inclusivity and diversity within their organizations. Participants will explore the concept of intersectionality and its relevance in recruitment, learn the benefits of hiring with an intersectional lens, and develop inclusive hiring practices to attract and retain a diverse talent pool. While the workshop is aimed to recruiters and hiring managers, anyone who is interested in learning more about the topic is welcome to join!
Learning Objectives
During this workshop, participants will:
1. Gain an understanding of intersectionality and its impact on individuals’ experiences and social identities.
2. Recognize the benefits of hiring with an intersectional lens.
