Transition Project
The Gateway Employment Transitions Project (GET-Work) helps youth to identify, prepare for, seek, acquire and retain the employment that matches their interests and abilities
GET-Work provides person-directed services tailored to meet the unique needs of youth with disabilities
GET-Work builds the skills, knowledge and capabilities of participants to further increase their self-esteem, social inclusion and personal/financial capacities.
OUR SKILLED AND INNOVATIVE TEAM PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICES TO PARTICIPANTS:
- Career Exploration
- Action Plan Development
- Post Secondary Training and Certification Opportunities
- Resume Development
- Individual and Group Learning
- Employment Preparation
- Job Search Support
- Employment Placement
- Training and Job Retention Supports
Who Can GET-Work
- Individuals 15-30 years of age
- Self-identify as having a disability/barriers to employment
- Currently unemployed
- Legally entitiled to work in Canada
- Ready to achieve their employment goals
